W. Paul Menzel, Associate Professor in the Atmospheric and Oceanic
Madison, is the Senior Scientist to the Office of Research and Applications and specializes in calibration of
infrared remote sensing radiometers, radiative transfer in the atmosphere, cloud studies with multispectral
instruments (HIRS, MODIS), and evolving the current sounders to interferometers.

Tiziano Maestri. Tiziano is working at the ADGB - physics department of the University of Bologna; he specializes on infrared radiative transfer in multiple scattering atmospheres and cloud studies with interferometers. During his PhD he developed and tested a Line by Line code.
