In this case the plume (center of the detailed images) has a wider shape, resembling almost a "fan". As in the other cases, it "emanates" from a warm region inside the "cold-U".  Also the other storms in the area exhibit a significant increase of the 3.7 µm reflectivity, though mainly of an irregular shape.
