     GOES-EAST IMAGER DATA

Server/group/dataset information for GOES-East can be found at the
end of this file. This includes information for GOES-East navigation.

Full disk images are sent every 3 hours, beginning at 0245 UTC,
regardless of what schedule the spacecraft is in.

When the spacecraft is in a routine schedule, CONUS, Northern
Hemisphere (NH) & Southern Hemisphere (SH) images are sent as
     follows:
                        CONUS hh02 & hh32
                        NH hh15 & hh45
                        SH hh09 & hh39

For various reasons (such as, but not limited to, severe
weather or for space shuttle support), the spacecraft may go
into either a Rapid Scan Operations (RSO) schedule or a
Super Rapid Scan Operations (SRSO) schedule.

When GOES-East is in any schedule besides the routine one,
that information will be placed in the text file INFO/MESSAGES.
     (Type READ INFO/MESSAGES)

Note: Changes to the GOES-East schedule during times when
the UW-SSEC Data Center is unstaffed (weekends and
holidays) will not be reflected in the MESSAGES file.

Images sent during the RSO schedule can be found in the same
datasets as when the spacecraft is in the routine schedule.
During the SRSO schedule, CONUS, NH and FD images can also
be found in the same datasets as during the routine schedule,
while the 1-minute images will be in the SRSO datasets.

     GOES-EAST SOUNDER DATA

     GOES-East sounder start times are hh20 & hh46.
