SSEC Data Center Real-time Data

The Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) Data Center currently ingests research-quality data from several different geostationary satellites, the NOAA polar orbiting satellites, and the EOS polar oribiting satellites Terra and Aqua in real-time. SSEC also ingests point, grid and text data from the NOAAport broadcast

All real-time satellite data is available to customers of the SSEC Data Center via ADDE in McIDAS AREA or netCDF format. Authorized users can download the commands to update their ADDE client server table with the current real-time server information.
