GOES-South America IMAGER DATA
**Update**
As of (Julian day) 2011.237 GOES-SA will no longer be taking sounders at
01:31z and 04:31z due to special space look commanding.
Full disk images are sent every 3 hours, beginning at 0245 UTC,
regardless of what schedule the spacecraft is in.
When the spacecraft is in a routine schedule,
Southern Hemisphere (SH) images are sent at hh15, hh28, hh45, hh58.
For various reasons the spacecraft may go
into either a Rapid Scan Operations (RSO) schedule or a
Super Rapid Scan Operations (SRSO) schedule.
Images sent during the RSO schedule can be found in the same
datasets as when the spacecraft is in the routine schedule.
During the SRSO schedule, CONUS, NH and FD images can also
be found in the same datasets as during the routine schedule,
while the 1-minutes images will be in the SRSO datasets.
GOES-SA SOUNDER DATA
GOES-SA sounder image start times area hh31
(except 01:31z & 04:31z as mentioned above)
