A McIDAS Bibliography

The Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) pioneered the use of interactive computing for visualizing weather data.  In 1970, SSEC released the Man computer Interactive Data Access System (McIDAS) for visualizing and manipulating satellite images.  This bibliography includes citations to research done using the McIDAS or to descriptions of McIDAS systems, applications and history.  Most of the research was done at the Space Science and Engineering Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison. The listing is extensive and includes refereed and unrefereed publications.
