SDI File Descriptions

The types of SDI files common to all high data rate satellite types (GVAR and POES) are:

• SDF Files (Stretched Data Format)
• Index Files
• Descriptor Files
• Image Files

Image files are also generated for lower data rate satellite types (MTSAT and Meteosat).
