Starting the SDI

To start the SDI, complete the Initial Power Up section of Chapter 2 - Initial Checkout, Setup and Power Up.

The GVAR Sounder Decoder is also started automatically when the computer is powered up if the SOUNDER variable is set in the /data/opt/etc/rc.GVAR file.
