Change Release Notes for details
- updates to MSG navigation module to improve navigation near the limb [inquiry 13938]
The complete list of changes in version 2007b is available at the Fastrack
Software Changes page.
Note to Mac OS X users:
Please note that this Fastrack release was tested only on Mac OS X 10.5 Intel systems configured according to the Apple section of the Planned System Configurations page. We have been unable to successfully build McIDAS-X on Mac OS X 10.5 PPC systems thus far. Also, we did not build or test this Fastrack release on Mac OS X 10.4 (Intel or PPC), but believe it will probably work on those systems.
Each Fastrack version is an intermediate release of McIDAS-X software. All changes in each Fastrack version have been tested by SSEC McIDAS User Services; however, a complete system test has not been performed. Therefore, Fastrack versions may not be as stable as a fully-supported upgrade (e.g., version 2006) and we recommend that you do not install Fastrack software on mission-critical workstations. We also ask that you report any problems you encounter with Fastrack software to the McIDAS Help Desk.
