The Data Center is pleased to announce that this data is now available to our users. To access it, you must install McIDAS-X Fastrack version 7.704 (which contains changes needed to list, display and copy NEXRAD data), then run the command below to add the group containing the data to your client routing table: DATALOC ADD NEXRAD NOAAPORT.SSEC.WISC.EDU Please see the MUG Web Site's NEXRAD Data page: http://www.ssec.wisc.edu/mcidas/hot_topics/NEXRADTOP.html for detailed information on using NEXRAD data and additional information such as the number of sites that we are receiving for each of the product types as of 17 UTC today. Even if you don't plan to use NEXRAD data, you should visit and read this page, as it contains information about a new context file named IMGDISP.CORE/SITE/USER that can be used to create predefined products that simplify creation of sophisticated image displays.
