This version (2005b) is the second intermediate release after the May 2005 McIDAS-X upgrade (version 2005). Subsequent intermediate releases will contain all changes in the previous intermediate releases. For example, version 2005e will contain all changes in versions 2005a, 2005b, ... 2005e. The calibration was updated and should now work on all supported platforms. 13140 msgtaget2.for 1.15 The lower part of the MSG HRV sector began moving during the day and the MSG server did not piece the image together correctly. The server has been updated to correct for this change in data transmission. 13063 sunlit.pgm 1.17 The SUNLIT command was updated to output the correct data at the Poles. Modules released 15-JUL-05 in version 2005a ------------------------------------------- 13077 imgprobe.pgm 1.107 IMGPROBE was updated to correctly report the SCAN TIME for GOES-13, -14, -15, unremapped FY2C and unremapped MTSAT data. Remapped FY2C, MTSAT, and GMS images should list the SCAN TIME as missing. No other changes were made to the functionality of IMGPROBE. 13067 ddeservc.c 1.32 Some valid project numbers were being rejected on 64-bit Linux servers. Only users with accounting turned ON on 64-bit Linux machines would have noticed this problem, so this change should not affect the functionality of any other servers. 13066 CORE.SAT 1.10 FY2, FY1, and NOAA-18 were added to CORE.SAT, so the NAV* commands can now use these satellites. 13045 gvaradir.cp 1.28 The GVAR servers were updated so that raw GVAR data could be stored on a Linux machine. A new calibration module, kbxmtst.dlm, was written for this change.
