the McIDAS-X package. The numbers at the beginning are the SSEC inquiry
system numbers.

This version (2008a) is the first intermediate release after the May 2008
McIDAS-X upgrade (version 2008). Subsequent intermediate releases will
contain all changes in the previous intermediate releases. For example,
version 2008e will contain all changes in versions 2008a, 2008b, ... 2008e.
