Procedure #3: Installing the Secondary Ethernet Card

Note: If you are using the same machine that you had been using as your SDI NOAAPORT then remove the SDI card. Please do not discard the SDI NOAAPORT card; we hope to recover them for recycled use in other types of ingestors.

1. In your NOAAPORT ingest computer install the secondary Ethernet card.
2. Configure the secondary Ethernet card for a private network.
3. Force the secondary Ethernet card into 100Mbps full duplex mode.
