SSEC Data Center

For questions about McIDAS satellite and conventional data reception/ingestion, contact the SSEC Data Center. The Data Center is composed of a team of computer operators who maintain and archive real-time meteorological data. The Data Center is staffed Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Central time, and is also available to take McIDAS software questions during times the McIDAS Help Desk is not staffed (after 4:30 p.m. weekdays).
