Networking events
A Poster Reception will be held on Tuesday evening at EUMETSAT (included in registration fee). On Wednesday evening, 15 April, our banquet will take place in Heidelberg. We depart EUMETSAT by coach bus at 16:00. Participants will first pay a visit to the historic Heidelberg Castle, followed by ride down to the Old Town of Heidelberg on the funicular railway. Participants will then have a chance to wander through the beautiful streets of the old centre of Heidelberg before embarking on a river cruise along the Neckar river. A dinner of locally sourced German cuisine will be served aboard the solar powered boat while participants sit back and relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Neckar valley. The banquet is included in the registration fee.
