I submitted the following letter to the editor of the New York Times on 8 Oct 2017, although they did not print it:
Ms. Botsman describes Grace asking, "Alexa, what should I do today?" and "Alexa, what should I wear today?" Children who ask such questions will grow up to ask, "Alexa, should we regulate the AI industry?" and "Alexa, who should I vote for?"
