I am Technical Director of the University of Wisconsin Space Science and Engineering Center where I oversee scientific instrument developments (intended for ground-based, aircraft, and spaceflight appllications), technical computing, and quality assurance. I am currently focused on developing enabling technologies for future Climate Benchmark satellite missions, such as NASA's CLARREO (Climate Absolute Radiance and Refractivity Observatory) mission. I am deeply involved in novel ways to provide on-orbit SI traceable absolute radiometric calibration for these missions.
