Letter to J. K. Anderson from Mrs. Gilbert

Letter on Hotel Menasha Letterhead (Menasa, Wisconsin, John B. Stitgen, Prop)

December 8, 1914

J. Kennedy Anderson

Franklin, Indiana

My dear Mr. Anderson,

I have had time to reread the correspondence you sent, & think about same. I think I agree with Dr. Nickerson. When you get a manufacturing plant [illegible] and in succesful working order will be time enough to plan about the state of the International Co. In the present state of the financial world, & the conditions of Europe, it looks hopeless any way. Indeed I marvel that you have been succesful in doing what you say you have in Franklin.

I did not know Mr. Hannah had entered a claim against the Co. He is suing me for $1000.00 services too. He certainly claims the Earth all right. I hope to get through [ ] the matter that is pending between him and me very soon now.

I shall be very glad and interested to hear the details of your success in Franklin when you get things definitely going. I do hope this is a real success & that there will be no backing out at the eleventh hour.

With best wishes,

Most Holy,

(Mrs.) [ ] Gilbert
