{"id":3895,"date":"2016-10-27T19:09:08","date_gmt":"2016-10-27T19:09:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ssec.wisc.edu\/datacenter\/?page_id=3895"},"modified":"2019-12-19T20:10:29","modified_gmt":"2019-12-19T20:10:29","slug":"announcements","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.ssec.wisc.edu\/datacenter\/announcements\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcements"},"content":{"rendered":"<pre class=\"moz-quote-pre\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssec.wisc.edu\/datacenter\/4734-2\/\"><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino, serif\">Updates to RabbitMQ messaging system Feb 11, 2019<\/span><\/a><\/pre>\n<h3>ABI Schedule Change<\/h3>\n<p>GOES-16 (GOES-East) and GOES-17 (GOES-West) Advanced Baseline Imagers (ABI) will permanently transition from Flex Mode (mode 3) operations to 10-minute Flex Mode (mode 6) operations starting April 2, 2019 at 1600UTC.\u00a0 In the event of a Critical Weather Day declaration, the mode 6 transition will be rescheduled for the same time each day thereafter until the transition can be executed.<\/p>\n<p>10-minute Flex Mode (mode 6) operations is a Full Disk every 10 minutes, CONUS every 5 minutes, and 2 meso domains every minute (or 1 domain every 30 seconds).\u00a0 Continuous Full Disk Mode (mode 4) will continue to be a secondary operational mode.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HCAST Outage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Since 20191126, SSEC-SDS has not received HCAST data due to a change of processing stations.
