Logging the SDI Console Messages

If the variable LOG is defined in the file /etc/init.d/ingcntl, all console messages are appended to the file whose name is set in the LOG variable. As delivered, the system does not log console messages.

CAUTION! If logging is enabled, you must truncate or rotate the log file or it will grow indefinitely. If logging is added, you must reboot in order for it to take effect. The file could become very large if things are not working well.
