PAN

This keyword specifies number of the frame panel to display image or graphics output, or to provide navigation and image information. The valid range is determined by how many panels the frame has (set with the PANEL command). The default is the panel where the cursor is when the command is run. Below are four examples.

IMGDISP GOES/VIS PAN=2

This entry displays the image GOES/VIS on panel 2 of the current frame.

MAP USA PAN=4

This entry displays a map of the USA on panel 4 of the current frame.

PC L KMSN PAN=1

This entry moves the cursor into panel 1 of the current frame and positions it over the station KMSN.

IMGPROBE PAN=9

This entry lists digital values for the point in panel 9. The point listed is in the same panel location (as opposed to geographical location) as the cursor in the current panel. For example, if the cursor is positioned at the center of panel 1, this command lists values for the point at the center of panel 9 no matter what the geographical coverage.
