For Academic Staff Employees
Most of you will be getting the 1% increase and the effective date will be July 1, 2013. Payroll and FY budget constraints did not allow campus to get it uploaded on time, so we have been told that the increase will be seen on your August 30 paycheck as well as the retro for the month of July. I am waiting for a list from campus will all of the names and rates, once I get that I will be putting together letters for those eligible.
Please know that not all employees are getting the 1% increase. Below are two groups that will probably impact SSEC the most, but there may be others as well:
- Anyone hired on or after April 1, 2013
- Rehired Annuitants
