This meeting will provide a forum for sharing PREFIRE science results and progress toward applications utilizing PREFIRE observations.   The first day will include a PREFIRE Mission Operations Review where mission status and baseline operations will be reviewed and discussed.  The remainder of the meeting will include updates from algorithm developers and science presentations spanning the full breadth of PREFIRE science objectives.

Plans for future algorithm refinement, expanding scientific applications, and growing the PREFIRE community, will be discussed.  Avenues for collaborating with ground-based, airborne, and complementary satellite missions will also be explored.

The meeting will conclude with a hands-on PREFIRE data workshop where science team members and other users will be provided code to read and visualize all PREFIRE data products and have an opportunity to engage algorithm developers with questions and to provide user feedback.

This is an open meeting, but space is limited so registration is necessary to attend. Only registered virtual attendees will receive a link to connect. The deadline for registration has been extended to 4 September 2026 to allow organizers time to finalize meeting logistics.
