This reception showcased the research of scientists, faculty and students from the UW-Madison Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences building: the Center for Climatic Research<\/a>, the Cooperative Institute for Satellite Meteorological Studies<\/a>, the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences<\/a> and the Space Science and Engineering Center<\/a>. This event created a forum for scientists and researchers at the AOSS building to discuss their work and act as a springboard for new collaborations. The 2026 event was held on Monday, February 9 from 3 – 5:30 pm. <\/p>\n\n\n

Again this year, the 2026 Reception was held in conjunction with the Reid Bryson Scholarship Poster Competition<\/a>. Some posters from AMS and AGU were also displayed at the AOSS poster reception. <\/p>\n\n\n
