You may see some common-use categories disappear from the interface.\u00a0 This will affect the categories in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ssec.wisc.edu\/realearth\/mobile-apps\/\">RealEarth Apps<\/a> (since they pull from the source).\u00a0 Be aware that none of the current products (apart from some internal test products) will be eliminated. You will still be able to locate any content using the \u201cSearch\u201d feature.\u00a0 The larger &#8220;collection&#8221; designation (also evolving) helps sort categories into context-specific collections.\u00a0 There are collections that are associated with specific apps such as ISEE\/JPSS and GOES, for example.\u00a0 Many products will be cross-listed.\u00a0 As always, please let us know if you have suggestions for improvements to the basic interface or apps\u00a0 by emailing <a href=\"mailto:realearth@ssec.wisc.edu?subject=RealEarth Suggestion\">realearth@ssec.wisc.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The RealEarth Team has started an internal task designed to simplify and improve data discovery within the RealEarth product &#8220;collection.&#8221; In the next few weeks we will be consolidating products into a more manageable list of category topics.
