Weather conditions: Evening started off clear with calm winds. Clouds rolled in later on.

Shortwave ridging experienced in much of PECAN domain. LLJ expected to come up through wstrn TX and move eastward through OK into MO. Various MCSs forecasted throughout the night in estrn CO, wstrn TX and MO. CI forecasted to occur within KS starting moreso after 06 UTC stretching from NW to SE regions.

Radiosondes - Good - Launches at 0201, 0400, 0600, 0700 UTC

Notes: PECAN teams split across two different missions. IOP 23 was MCS mission in West TX/OK Panhandle and IOP 24 was CI/LLJ mission in W/SW Kansas (which SPARC took part of). 

Surface met. instruments and HALO were deployed on drivers side of trailer this time to the northwest.  

Sonde was luanched at 0500 UTC but due to software error, data was not saved. (Souding was not officially triggered/initiated - upon termination of sounding, all data lost. Sounding system set to manual start mode.)
