Hurricane Applet - Simple Example

In this configuration, you can do two things:

• Drag the storm around over water of different Sea Surface Temperatures (SST)
• Click on the Season name to change seasons and show different Sea Surface Temperatures distributions

Questions to explore:

• As you move the storm over different SST values, what happens to the intensity?
• What happens to a storm if you just change seasons?
• What happens when you move the storm over land?
