Initial call on Camp Fire

At ~3:46pm CST, JPSS became aware of a request from CalFires regarding trying to gather intelligence on a “serious fire in Butte County/Paradise California”. While GOES-17 is currently out of position at the time of the fire due to the drift maneuver, JPSS has provided several images from NOAA-20, which had the best viewing of the fire, shown below.
