Method Detail

start

void start()
    throws java.lang.Exception

Starts the service. This method blocks until the service has completely started.

Throws:

java.lang.Exception - if there was a problem starting the service

stop

void stop()

Stops the service. This method blocks until the service has completely shut down.

isRunning

boolean isRunning()

Checks to see if the service is still running.

Returns:

true if the service is running, false otherwise.
