Presentation 1600-1630.  The Algorithm Working Group (AWG) includes many teams, one of which is the Imagery team, which is responsible for the Cloud and Moisture Imagery product. The Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI), on the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite (GOES)-R series represents a major technological leap in capability for the GOES mission. The ABI is a state-of-the-art 16-band radiometer, with spectral bands covering the visible, near-infrared and infrared portions of the electro-magnetic spectrum. This poster highlights work of the AWG imagery team at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The team supports the GOES-R mission, from the first-light imagery generation to quality control via inter-comparisons. A web page ( http://cimss.ssec.wisc.edu/goes/goesdata.html )
