Jim Kossin Interviewed on the Weather Channel
The Weather Channel interviewed Jim Kossin of the National Climatic Data Center (NCDC). Dr. Kossin is stationed at the Cooperative Institute for Meteorological Satellite Studies (CIMSS) to collaborate with UW scientists. In the interview, Kossin explains a new model recently adopted by the National Hurricane Center to help predict hurricane eyewall replacement cycles. The interview took place on 6 June 2012.
